I actually got sent here yesterday by Chris Tucker after I sent him an email trying to clartify the recipe for Apple Cider.
He sent me bach a simple reply that I'll forever be thankful for...
"go to the roof cleaning institute of america forum"
I spent most of the day yesterday on the site reading and researching. I found out more in that time then I did on the other site in a week.
Not to mention...I sent Chris Madden (Palmetto Powerwashing in Lancaster, SC) an email about a topic he posted and within 19 minutes we were on the phone talking shop. He is also allowing me to meet him at a job next week and see his methods.
I would like to thank everyone for the knowledge they have so freely given thus far. I aim to give back once I gain some knowledge and experience.
I am really excited about this business. I come from a background where being outdoors and construction run deep in my blood. My father was a GC and I did 21 years in the Army. I was in the Engineer field doing lots of military construction bot in the US and abroad.
After retiring, I did a short time in the corporate world. Long enough to know I never want to subject myself to that again.
I can't wait to apply some LOVE to a roof top. I just need to get my delivery system set up.
I am quite sure I will be good at this...I have applied LOVE in other areas of my life and have four (4) boys to prove it. If I can do half as well on roofs, I'll be LOVING life!
Thanks all.
