i went through my local cable Co. Cost me 14.99 a year for domain name and 9.99 a month. they have web site wizard to guide you through to make you own. only draw back to this is that with them you can not cut and past anything. it all has to be typed out

I use Google Sites. Very easy to use and you can register the domain and have functioning email in and out. $10 per year
