Anyone and everyone knows the smell of bleach. Doesn't take much to give it away. I never try to hide it. But if the customer does ask what I'm using I say; "Roof Cleaner" Ha, Ha!! A scalpel is a simple tool also, but it takes a special operator to not "butcher" the job,...the same goes for chlorine or bleach or sodium hypochlorite or whatever we decide to call it.

Most customers realize this in my experiences.

Good points Jeff
When customers claim to smell a LOT of bleach we tell them that bleach has a high odor threshold. I remind them what happens if you spill a little bleach in the laundry room ?
