I promise you though if you really look at the coverage its not that much. its all about what it looks like. Just like the commercial ( the end of it especially ) I just want them to call that minute it runs. that to me is the hardest part of the whole cleaning process. once the phone rings the fun begins.

Well .... It is HARD to "find fault" with this. But to "nit pick" here are my thoughts. Number one The fast talking GUY in the shorts LOOKS like he is making a TON of Money
Plus - he LOOKS like a KID !
You might consider using an OLDER spokesperson for the Company in a UNIFORM ?
THAT Kid looks likke he can't WAIT to get to the Golf Course or the Bank in those shorts
Second - The Spray LOOKS too much like it COULD be pressure. It is also blowing all OVER the place ?
I would take MY next ad with a Shower Head ?
Maybe even stick my HAND in the stream to SHOW not just TELL that no damaging Pressure is used ?
Thanks Chris, and i did ask, so all feedback is welcome. As far as the talking goes. you have to do that cause you only have 60 seconds to get all your info in. the speaking parts plus the voice overs have to be all squeezed in together in 60 seconds along with all the effects. So theres never really much we can do there. Also on last years commercial we did the hand through the water. And for like two weeks straight during the shooting time frame there was wind like crazy, so eventually we just took our shot at it. I like the shower head reply though, that might work for the end of the season commercial. Thanks for the feedback.
Fantastic add! Around how much would somthing like that cost? How long does it run for? Did you hire a company to do it for you?
The add its self comes in a complete package with your run times. this will air where we put it everyday, so whatever times slots, (the ellen show, the today show, the 6 news) slots like that, get the most calls is where we will keep them.we will keep moving them to maximize calls. As far as cost your average person will do a 30 sec commercial which runs about 6-800 a month for around a 100 random slots on a cheap station. For a good station your looking at 1 and a half times that for half the spots. also everything is double because it a 60 sec commercial. Lastley it runs for as long as you want as long as you pay. we will change it later in the season to accomodate the late customers, and we will do different specials.
We do all the ads our self including all ideas. if we leave it up to firms they end up just doing the same thing as everyone else. someone walking on a roof and saying we use low pressure. you have to be creative and take different routes. also brand your company. The waves you see at the top and bottom of the screen are on all the mailers and ad pak vouchers along with the name and logo. it never changes. nor do the colors. you have to keep it consistent. lastley you can't do just tv you have to it it all and at once not seperate. for example the tv ad airs the same time 40,000 mail ads go out and an ad runs at the local gyms at the same time also. pick three at a time, can the ones that don't generate, and fill in with another avenue.

If you do all your ad's at once- how do you tell what one is working ? Do you code your ads with different offers - etc ?
Chris , everything has different offers that are not able to be combined. If someone calls, before we hang up we ask them where they heard about us. Then our estimators, which we never call sales people, know what to add to the roof to make everything match right.
