Question? Are we STILL that far off from a decision?

Are you all STILL not happy to choose between the LOGOS presented?

I am fine with majority rules as my vote is placed, just because I want us to move forward as a GROUP, chips falling where they may?

In the END it is JUST a LOGO, but darn it, it is OUR logo, so yes, it DOES matter.

If you WANT to Chris, WE CAN go back to Shawn at Monsters Co. for another round, but THEN, IMHO, we will then NEED to set a FINAL cap on the amount of submissions and then make the FINAL ruling based on votes?

What do you think?

I have to agree with Mike here, this design looks really good, especially when it is encapsulated in it's blue background.
With the word Certified written in Red under it, it REALLY looks good.

Try as I might, I just am unable to  "warm up" to the other designs.

Chris, Mike and all RCIA Members,

I too like the design that Keith of KBK designed. Keith's  LOGO is and was One of the BEST looking by the votes to be the winner of the previous LOGO vote.

When you asked me to take on this project I was all for this original design thast KBK presented us as well.

I think , however, with the recent additions that Shawn of Monsters Co. has brought to the table, the design # RC7 is my favorite and is the one I have voted for.

Once again, in my previous vote I ,ALSO, voted for THE PILLAR graphic by KBK you and Mike ALSO like.

I also was the one, if you remember who suggested that ROPER make the USA "GREEN" in the Roof Over the USA logo submission which I also liked and still do and I KNOW, that you are partial too, ALSO, Chris.

I harbor no SPECIAL feelings toward any one design who has presented their FINE work for ALL RCIA members to decide from and want to, personally say that, I really respect the creativity brought to this effort by all involved in the DESIGN process and for you and MIke and OTHERS here who have made suggestions for revisions to, in the end, get us ALL the very best RCIA logo to represent us.

As we have discussed privately and now PUBLICLY, the FATE of the LOGO should be DECIDED by majority rule of the MEMBERS of RCIA and as such, the VOTES will decide the fate of the new LOGO?

Of course, as "chairman of the board" here at RCIA, you alone will have final say and VETO authority?

I, like you, feel that we are PART of the RCIA, not the Administration and separate from it and its members.

In the END we are ALL Roof Cleaners, trying to educate, demystify,and shed light on PROPER roof cleaning techniques, safety, and promotion, marketing, etc.

I know you, CHRIS and Mike and others here, VALUE and RESPECT the membership of the RCIA and have voiced that to me on MANY occasions that you want the LOGO that "the guys want" on the board.

Once again, I, TOO, am a faithful, humble servant of the membership of the RCIA board.

My purpose is ONLY to see that we ALL agree equitably and fairly on the BEST LOGO for the RCIA for CREDIBILITY and RESPECT of our CERTIFICATION CREDENTIAL.

So, having said all this, to summerize, I voted for RC7 and In the previous vote I voted for the KBK PILLAR logo.

I hope all vote who care for the fate of the RCIA public brand and CERTIFICATION design, vote or speak up.

Lets get this done guys and MOVE ON?

Here is my combined version of the two best qualities I feel look the best from Keith's and Shawn's logo.

I printed each logo out on my computer, cut and pasted them together with scissors and tape.  I don't have much control over the sizing so this is a rough idea of how I would like the new FINAL RCIA logo to look.

Notice how the fonts closely match each other in style, not stretched or inconsistent.

1) The arched ROOF CLEANING at the top I would like flattened out a little to match the arch of the roof.

2) RCIA in the middle I would like enlarged to fit inside the columns better.  NOT STRETCHED or ENLONGATED!

3) INSTITUTE of AMERICA on the bottom I would like enlarged to fit on the edge of the steps on the left and right edges.  Letter I tight on the left and Letter A tight on the right edge. NOT STRETCHED or ENLONGATED!  And make it bold to match the ROOF CLEANING at the top.

Enlarging the INSTITUTE of AMERICA on the bottom should make it close to the same size font as ROOF CLEANING at the top.

Keeping all the fonts consistent and not stretched and different styles make it look much stronger in my opinion.

I like Shawn's design of the colums, steps, and roof.  And I like Keith's font choice.

Combining the best of both, I feel makes it look very impressive.

After seeing them right next to each other, I think the Monsters Pillars design is more elegant, and makes the KBK design look like a Circus tent in comparasion.
However, after seeing Mike Sullivans Font addition, I agree Shawn needs to play with the Fonts a bit more ?
The Roof Cleaning Fonts at the Top are Skrunched.

BUT, if we can all agree on number 8, we can then go back to Shawn, and have him clean up the Fonts a bit ?
That is easy, and does not require a complete re design!

BTW, when CERTIFIED is added, in RED, it will really look good!

So, I vote for number 8, with a  LITTLE Font cleanup, maybe even like Mikes Fonts ?

Great observations....I AGREE with what you said as well and hope that we can ALL AGREE, not to DISAGREE on this one logo, RC8.

Clean it up a bit and Voila' , we have OUR new RCIA CERTIFIED Roof Cleaner Graphic!

You know, once we all decide on number 8, then we can go to Shawn, and show him Mikes Fonts suggestions ?
Once he knows he has a deal, I bet, knowinng Shawn, he can play with the Fonts just a bit to TWEAK a beautiful, elegant design.
I bet when everyone sees the CERTIFIED in Red, it will really show off a beautiful design

Yes! RC#8 is the one guys. I voted for #8

I agree with the font. RCIA in the middle is stretched too tall and maybe lower the INSTITUTE of AMERICA a tad to give both fonts more breathing room so they don't look so SCRUNTCHED!

Same with ROOF CLEANING at the top.  I needs a little more arch to give more room underneath the L
