My question is can you use 15% sodium hypochlorite in the appleciderinstead of 12.%. The reason is I have some 15% and wanted to just use that if I could.

Just got 5 gallons of 25% SH factory fresh from a friend that works their. (I am a little afraid to open it) Wish I could get it all the time.
SO anyway my distributer told me my SH is 15% by volume 12.5% by weight. Maybe I have those backwards. I think some people who have 12 or 15 might actually have the same thing ??
I got 2 gallons of 99% ISP at my local Wal-mart @ $1.79 per quart, the 3 closest distributers to me wanted around $20 per gallon!! Anyone know why it is more expensive through the distributers?
I have never heard of buying 15% or more SH?? Is it really possible? PS This is post # 100 for me, so it's certification time for me!!!! HURRAY! I think being "certified" will make a difference, especially in internet advertising! Chuck Bergman Roof Cleaning

Congrats Chuck!! As you said CERTIFIED will improve your advertising as it will in our Logo. IMHO. Have a long way to 100 myself but I WILL get there. Once again Congrats.
From speaking to our local chemist, it seems that 15% degrades to 12- 12.5% rather quickly, where it starts to stabilize for a short time. Most all SH is manufactured at around 15-16%, but by the time it reaches the consumer, it is between 10-12.5%.
