I was just wondering if anyone has done a billboard yet. I am extremly blessed to have my own at my other business and I am about to change it to a roof cleaning sign. I was hoping someone else has already got one and wondering the results.

Mike my wife and i bought a skating rink about six years ago and the billboard was on our property. I called the man who had the contract on it and asked to have it took off. He said it would be cheaper for him to just sell it to me, so i gave him $100 and we called it even. It would rent for $200 a month but we use it for our own stuff. I am working with my artist now for a roof cleaning theme. For the guys that have ramp backed trailers put a 3 foot by 5 foot sign on the backside. Believe me the jobs you get from will out way the gas from slowing you down. Spend a little money on a great graphic artist it will be money well spent. Check out www.signs365.com i doubt you can find vinyl any cheaper. My trailer is old but i am getting one made now. Think about how many people ride behind you everyday.

Thats exactly what I'm doing as we speak. I gave my sign guy the down payment to do the layout and if I have time tomorrow I have to go and proof it. It should be done and on my trailer this week. Been wanting to do it for years and kept putting it off. I recently had to put a new rig together so I figured it was time. I can't wait to see how it comes out and get it on. I drive all over Pinellas County Florida with my rig just about everyday. This billboard should really help. I'll post pics as soon as it's done!!!
Took care of the proofing today on the billboard and I think it looks real good. They said it should be ready by tomorrow. Stay tuned for pics. I'm pretty excited to finally get this done!
I finally got a billboard made for the back of my trailer tailgate. Picked it up late this afternoon and installed it. Been wanting to for years but just never did it. Up until now I only had my back window lettering. I didn't want to get to crazy and have it too busy and I wanted to keep the colors kinda soft. (easy on the eyes). How many of you guys have signs like this and do you think it makes a big difference? Anyone seem to get more business from it? If ya gottem lets see some pics. I'm hoping this attracts a few more lookers and turns them into customers.
Looks good Larry. It will no doubt help with recognizability, you cant miss it! I am planning on getting my trailer done in the next few weeks, I hope it turns out that good.
Thank You! After I put it on I thought the same thing...Ya definitely can't miss it...It will be all the person behind me at a red light will be able to see. Hahaha! maybe it will make them take a second look at their Roof when they get home.
The billboard is a great idea, especially if you own it.
Have you come up with any ideas for it yet?
You could do something like your doorhanger, that would really get attention.
Good luck.

I have a fried who has one of those turning billboards. He says he charges 750 a month with a min of 3 months. Artwork not included. I wonder how much of a discount i could get.
Its at the entrance of a large 55+ community, next to a high end hotel
