That's max with the smallest zero degree tip, and that's at the tip. By the time it gets to where its going its nice and gentle. Most of the time pressure is much less by switching tips, but volume stays the same.

Does it? Tips change pressure through orifice size and degrees of angle. If I'm using a zero tip VS. a 45 tip, how am I not changing GPM??

Good Lord, you are not running roof cleaning chemicals through that pump, right ? What is it ?
Technically, given a zero degree and a 65 degree nozzle and everything else remaining equal, the pressure will even be the same RIGHT AT THE TIP. It dissipates quickly with the 65, not so much with the zero lol. For instance, I could spray you from 3 ft away with a 65 and ur just gonna get wet. With a zero you are gonna need stitches.

Yes and successfully for years. Shhhhhhhhhhh! I gotta eat too. Maybe over a few beers sometime mr. Tucker...
Well ..... I have seen pumps last for awhile, cleaning roofs every now and then, But we do sometimes 5 roofs a day. I have done 11 roofs in one day, by myself with a helper, MAX. Only AODD Pumps hold up to that kind of torture, IME.
Here is a picture of my grounds person 'helper'. Her name is Angela because she is my angel. She's no Catrina though. She does not smell good, she can't dance and I doubt whether she would be any good in the sack. However, she IS radio remote controlled, does whatever the hell I tell her to do, is paid for, doesn't talk back, makes me money instead of spends my money, and I can throw her in the van at the end of the day and she is always there tomorrow!!!
The buttons do the following: engage the clutch, rinse, and deliver love, plus one other chemical if need be.
Guess I understand that you CAN do this, but not WHY? I would get a dedicated pump with higher GPM adn a bigger hose JUST for roof washing applications.
Like my Dad told me once: El-Stupido, you can be right, or you can be happy... ... either way, we should probably buy you a helmet."
Just read more friend, sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel comes later...
See ya around the forum KP

I already told you, i don't use anywhere near as much chemical, don't have to worry as much about landscaping, don't have to pay a grounds person, and don't have to haul around 2700 lbs. of love. So what if i wear a helmet, I still make a lot more money than you do. Per job FOR SURE and i'm guessing annually as well.

Looked in the search feature on here and found nothing about this. My question. Has anyone, or is it possible to hook 2 Delvans in series and use one or both in the same line? Will the solution flow through the one that is turned off allowing just one to spray with? Would this be beneficial for high roofs that you don't want to, or can't get on? Stress on pumps? Info please. Gary
yes they can be ran together but not in line you must hook the pump up with each one having its own feed line from the tank and use a tee to conect them together before the reel

Good question, but no. To use pumps in series like Firemen do, you need Centrifugal Pumps, Delavans are diapraghm pumps.
Pumps in series increase pressure, pumps in parallel increase flow.
