This was a small part of the job in Katy Tx, but the hardest. I almost fell in the pool. lol

Filthy BIG roofs, high humidity, and a decent economy, compared to the rest on USA.

I am not complaining about the economy. I am lucky there. Unfortunately roof cleaning has not caught on here like it has in Florida. That leaves those roof cleaners in the Houston hungry for work. Threfore some potential customers roofs are sometimes being cleaned at ridicuously low prices.

It's BS down here. Someone with a credit card and no nowledge buys equipmnent and gives stupid bids. I was in Home Depot yesterday getting a brush and their was 2 guys with their dad, he was yacking on the phone about starting pressure washing. I looked at him with his ladder and HD Pressure washer and laughed n walked off.

You know, we all copy somebody. It is a BIG mistake to price yourself lower then your competition. MAny roof cleaning newcomers shop their competitors, to see what the price is they can get in their area ? If you are going to do this, be sure and shop someone who has been in business for awhile! These are the guys charging enough to stay in business.

Picture #9 is obviously done with pressure. Maybe a few more before you get your Non Pressure roof cleaning certification? smile
