chris, love the new look of the forum. looking greatscott
Thanks, it is different, thats for sure. I made the fonts big, easy to read, because I am old, cant see very well from all the Mix in my eyes over 15 years of cleaning roofs. I wheeze too
Greetings! tatertot of BACK2NEW HERE. I JUST FOUND AND REGISTERED TO YOUR SITE. I'M VERY INTERESTED IN THE ROOF CLEANING IN THE MISSOURI AREA AND WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE SOME MENTORING FROM SOME FOLKS ALREADY IN THE BUSINESS.I specialize in pressure washing most all exterior areas of homes EXCEPT roofs.I do look at the roofs of homes that I do other work on and wish I could market on offer to homeowners to provide a roof cleaning service but I don't care to risk pressure washing asphalt shingle .So many of the homes in this area are asphalt shingles and do need a lower cost option to restoring the look of their home other than having a new roof installed. I'm all for getting the training and certification cause an old dog can learn new tricks ...if he want to.
Yea Chris I've been waiting on this to start up. Going to push roofs pretty hard up here. there are tons of nasty moldy roofs and no one is doing them. Having meeting with real estate agents and they are excited. Again thanks for setting this up, I plan on taking advantage of it for sure...

There is much roof cleaning info here, read, post, ask questions. There is a lot to be learned.
I just wanted to say Hi to all the men and women that are this forum. I see a lot of familiar company's from different forums on here from years back. I am a retired Navy guy and have been doing roof cleaning since 2005, then full time once I retired in 2006. Chris Tucker from Apple Roof Cleaning referred me to here years back for the apple sauce mix for roof cleaning and have used it ever since. I plan on trying out the apple cider soon. I do not know if you remember chris from talking to you back when but thanks for the help and info you gave me back then. I will take some pictures later of my rig and post them later. I recently moved from a towing a trailer to having a utility box truck, I can haul a lot more and do more.
I am looking forward to being on here and helping where I can and also getting some good in site from all you veterans of roof cleaning. My business has went from 25,000.00 and year when I started to over 100,000.00 a year so thanks guys.
Hey Newbi here just introducing myself.. Not sure where to do it. I've been pressure washing for 3 years now but I'm really only just starting to get into roof cleaning. I just want to say that this is a GREAT opportunity for New Contractors. Thank you to all that put it together. I'm looking forward to contributing!

LOL, actually ROTFF LMFAO, IF ya know what THAT means, he he Your signature bottom link STILL has a link to roofcleaningpro
I THOUGHT I fixed it ???
Yes, I DO remember you
We talked about my Stepdad being a Navy Man, and my plans to be a LIFER in the Navy;s Advanced Electronics Program !
A Bar Fight before Enlistment shattered THAT dream
I broke a Bikers Collarbone with a Pool stick, in self defense.
But my current dream is still alive.
THAT dream is for me and others to SHARE the success we have had cleaning roofs with others.
Like you, I do ok for myself, make a few bucks.
But NO Money can buy the satisfaction all of us here at the RCIA forum get when we hear stories like yours
The SKY is the limit to what a properly trained and equipped roof cleaner can make.
I just checked that signature and it go's to my website, I will check again. Thanks for the heads up, take care.
Yea I do like working for myself that is sure after taking orders for 20 years in the military I like making it happen for me and doing a good job and educating people about not letting someone pressure wash there roof. I still see 3 or 4 company's in my area doing that and sometimes I am right across from them on another house cleaning the roof and there still there cleaning when I am done plus damaging the that persons roof with a pressure washer. Thanks there Chris take care.

James, just a suggestion ?
You might think of making a signature with two lines.
Make one line Roof Cleaning Your town Virginia
Then, the other one Power Washing Hampton Virginia
Both can be linked to your website. Forget the naked jmpressurewashing dot com ?
We TRY to stick to ONLY Two services on RCIA Forum, Roof Cleaning and one other one, to not Confuse Google ?
Chris, I am all for RCIA becoming a real association like PWNA. It is a long road but well worth it for members. Call our association RCIA as changing the acronym might confuse our existing customers and also our new ones that might have heard about RCIA.

Maybe Im just ignorant but what is the mallard system? Did you know that you can Google anything and find out about it? Like "mallard system" for example. The Mallard System grossed $5 mil a year in Florida and was run by AC. Having been through his wilderness program I have signed agreements so that I can't discuss what I learned.
But,
When this man talks of has something to sell , you had better jump on it with 2 hands or ears. He knows his stuff and can save everyone the cost of his journey by the money he will save you in decreased chemical usage. And that is just for starts. There is a reason why AC is a retired roof cleaner and most of the members here are just starting. If you don't jump on what he has to offer then your competitor will and you will eventually be out of business. It is best to stay out ahead of your competitors and AC will show you how to do that and shorten the time that it would normally to do it. A shorter time to ramp up means more money in your pocket sooner. A small investment in AC's wilderness journey will pay for itself many times over and can prevent your business from ever failing due to mismanagement.
