We quoted a homeowner to clean his roof. He obtained other quotes and said we needed to come down in our price if we wanted the job. I sharpened my pencil and reduced the price. A week later on a Friday evening the homeowner called me accepting our quote. Then on the following Monday he informed me that he gave the job to someone else! He even denied that he accepted my quote when he called me the Friday before. Oh well.
