As for the "tiles," Im not talking about asphalt shingles. Clay and concrete tiles are the most common roofing material in south fl and thats what I mean by tiles.

A process called galvanizing, or hot-dipping. In this process, nails are drenched in a special solution that contains molten zinc, which helps to protect the metal underneath it.
