OK, go here http://free-proxyserver.com/ and then go to www.google.com and then do your search.

It can be a real eye opener!

This hides your real URL from Google, to stop Google from returning sites you have added a +1 to, and also to stop Google from showing you results based on your location.

Here is another one http://www.proxfree.com/ to try, and a good one to see how your roof cleaning website is doing in local and distant areas!

an easier way is to use google chrome, and start a new tab in "COGNITO" this allows you to search without it reading your "cookies" AKA your preferences from previous searches

A good idea, but as long as Google can still read your URL, it will always return results based on where it determines you to be.

You can think you are number one for your local searches, but unless you hide your URL from Google, the search results can be skewed to where you actually are.

Google did this chit so when you type in Pizza, you don't get a Pizza Joint 50 miles away
