The soil must be leached with TONS of water, to be sure any remaining poisons are down well below the root line. Then, any kind of growth formula fertilizer is applied to the good grass, to help it fill in faster.
Or, you can simply re sod, but either way, the soil must be drenched with plenty of water first!
Thanks Chris as usual, I had a lawn sprinkler on for around 3 hours whilst doing the job, obviously not long enough, my son has left town to go to college so I`m single handed now, but I cover plants and water with sprinklers from Lowes and move around the home slowly

A sprinkler is NO SUBSTITUTE for a ground man! It spreads the water out on a large area of the grass, when what is needed is a dedicated stream directed ONLY where the main run off is coming from.
When I was forced to work alone, I always took a water hose up on the roof with me, to water the ground as soon as I did a section of the roof.
Or, you can tarp, or put sheet plastic film down, on the grass/plants.
The grass will come back after like Chris said rinse, rinse, rinse. I sprayed along my fence cause I hate weed wackin and the grass came back worse then before.
You could throw some lyme on the burned areas. Really The area just needs time and watering.
