I go by one of those dome shaped houses all the time. I always think whatever possessed them to build it.

A few weeks ago Chuck Bergman commented about the interesting looking homes we have out west... We could do with out these.

I like the look of my ground guy Ben, wondering how he is going to control run off.

It was a cementicious fiber board that was totally shot. I told them that was the case but they said they just wanted to improve a bit to sell. I made sure that all of my observations as a roof inspector were clear and that we were not responsible in any way for anything in the proposal, they still wanted it done. we used all of the leftovers from my recent surfactant test (Take a peak Hank). It took two days... Long story... Paid well.

Very energy efficient. We rented one of those years ago during a trip to smokie mountains during the winter. The heat source was a wooden box with 3 100 watt light bulbs in it with a small fan blowing across them. Was almost too much and became uncomfortable during the nite. Styrofoam walls were about 12" thick.

Actually, there are many advantages to a dome home, but ease of roof cleaning is not one of them!
