 It is very very seldom that I have seen any employees of mine, with my work ethic.

For many many years, I cleaned roofs from sun up till sun down 6 and sometimes 7 days a week.

4 to 5 shingle roofs a day was a slow day, for me! 

Most were done w/o a respirator too, and I am paying for it now 

My Lungs flat shut down, as soon as I smell chlorine, and I need an inhaler. The problem with an inhaler is it raises blood pressure, and mine is pretty high. I risk a stroke, if I were to return to work.

I really HATE being dependant on employees, to do the work, In a business I created for myself. 

My Son is an awesome roof cleaner, and I will have him back in a few months. 

It takes so long to completely train a roof cleaner Chuck, and you can COUNT on them costing you plenty of money, until they are fully trained. 

My Son will be back soon, but until then, my current employees leave a lot to be desired, as far as work ethic goes.

Oh, they do a great job, when they work, but both are "Momma's Boy's", meaning their women make all the money in the family, so their need to work is not what it should be!

To add to that, once trained and we have invested lots of money and time into training / along with broken equipment and lost parts, then they go into business as competitors, with the best of training!

I am so glad to have my son, for these last 19years [may be 20 by now?] He can do 3 tile roofs in a day and throw in some pressure washing to boot!

He's doing to very large roofs today, one in Punta Gorda Isles- Big Roof, cage, deck, and 1 house wall  and One in Burnt Store Isles, roof only, then a house, cage and deck in Port Charlotte! This is our anniversary week for him to get his yearly raise and he certainly deserves it!!

I can't honestly say I was ever as good as he is. But, I am the one who talks to the potential customers and lands the jobs and I am the ground man, when needed [sprinklers can handle many hobs with gutters all around] I have to get down to the Burnt Store job now and do the ground work.

 That's awesome Chuck!  My Son is so much like I was LOL. Ne need for a "DNA Test" with him. In fact, we are so much alike, we can only "tolerate" so much time together, before we clash!

I am no longer able to kick his azz, unfortunately. He is 32, and muscle from head to toe, just like I was, at one time.

He has the bad temper I had at his age (I have mellowed a little), and is ready to throw down in a heartbeat, if he even thinks he is being disrespected.

He is not like this with our customers, thank God, and they love him. He is clean cut, handsome,  muscular, and extremely polite, to everyone but me, LOL

LOL, one of our 45 year old woman customers said she was nearly ready to "Go Cougar", when he cleaned her roof.

Though I have TOLD him about this, he sometimes will take his shirt off on a hot day, while cleaning a roof! 

He says he "wants an even sun tan", but I think he just wants to show off the 6 pack abs.

I think it is quite unprofessional to take your uniform shirt off while cleaning a roof Chuck, but I have never had one customer ever complain.

Apple Roof Cleaning, and The RCIA will be all his one day Chuck. 

Sometimes, as a father, I worry about him, and question if he will be able to handle the RCIA and our company, when I am dead and gone ?

But I think he will be just fine one day, w/o me.

In fact, he may be an even better trainer of roof cleaners in person then I am ?

He seems to have more patience then I do with people. 

He is also less stressed then me, since all he has to do is clean roofs, and train the occassional student.

I have FAR more, on my mind, at all times, running the business, selling and scheduling jobs, and the RCIA.

 I am FAR too busy to do any house washing! It is too much like work, and don't pay very well, here in Tampa. I refer the house wash  stuff out to my friends who pressure wash, but do not clean roofs.

In return, they send me roof cleaning work
