One tool our Blogs give, is the ability to CLOSE comments on your Blog! Not only is this much better for SEO, but you never have to "babysit" your promo posts the way you do on other forums!
I had TONS of promo posts at other places before RCIA. Competitors would notice my promo posts showing up in local search results, and would jump in my promo posts with "nice roof cleaning Chris BS", when what they really wanted was to steal my customers.
Or worse yet, people would jump in my promo posts with chit like "Chris, looks like you missed some spots". When I would add to my post that the rain will take care if it, they would ruin my promo threads with comments like "Chris, do you always make customers wait for the rain, to do your job" !
Our Blogs are set up so you CONTROL your own Blog.
That's great Chris, I was messing around with the setting and I think I did disable people from commenting on my blogs. I do see were that would hurt you by people jump on your promo posts.

Sure it does Eric, even IF they mean well! Even if I ask you if you do a lot of roof cleaning in hershey PA, and keyword load my post, I can STILL mess you up. here is Why. I am all about roof cleaning in tampa florida, not roof cleaning in hershey pa!
This is why the best strategy is to make a roof cleaning pennsylvania Blog Post on the new forum, then close that puppy right away. Then, say a few days later, make another roof cleaning pennsylvania post on that same blog, with a pic of a different roof you did.
Then, say a week later, make another roof cleaning pennsylvania titled post on that same blog.
This way the ENtire Blog is all about roof cleaning pennsylvania, and not "diluted" by well meaning friends who clean roofs in tampa or cleveland ohio!
