Mike I have had pinterest account for almost 2 Years and forgot about it until I just saw this thread. Good thread..

You can get good SEO out of Pinterest and Tumblr. These sites are rated #32 and #33 in the world. Add pic, location, website.

guess we'll kill 2 birds with one stone then. we can merge a before and after into one photo, post it to each other's tumblr page, then pin it. we can mix it up a bit, a change of pace from the blog/facebook thing.

Thanks Chris. I just googled "SEO Pinterest" and it's still NOFOLLOW (as of March '12).

@ Eric - I just clicked "customize" on the top right and messed around with the background/themes on the left. You have to be on your page, not the live feed.

IMO Tumblr is a lot better than Facebook.

Before Panda, it was quite easy to get links. Now, Google has got a LOT more fussy!

You dam near have to write a book to get a backlink now!

Long Winded Blog comments on Dofollow Blogs seem to work, sometimes.

As do long winded Forum posts. Google wants CONTENT, not a 2 or 3 line post!
