Removing graffiti from 2 buildings tomorrow. Gave this guy an estimate over 3 months ago, and he calls last Wednesday when it was 25* and wants it done ASAP. Supposesd to be 54* tomorrow so we are going to un-winterize the PW'r and go make him happy. The discount registered RCIA members get from Glidden on the graffiti remover is pretty good. Almost $13.00 per gallon. When your local dealer looks up our accont, It is listed as "The Roof Cleaning Institute of America. Won't find it without the "THE."
We got our first graffiti job last week, we have not ever done one before and have no product experience so we are at square one, any comments experience on pricing??
FYI: Make sure and wear rubber gloves. It does tend to dry out your skin some. Smells like oranges and the public loves it, and so do I.

That is correct. Glidden in Australia developed these products in the 70's and just brought them to the U.S. several years ago. The name "Worlds Best Graffiti Removal products is not just advertising. It is the TOTAL TRUTH. GREAT products.
I have a national account set up for members of RCIA which will get you a discount somewhere around 15--17% depending on the product. Just tell your Glidden Professional dealer to look it up under "The Roof Cleaning Institute of America.
I have found that if you apply the concret/brick cleaner with a pump up sprayer, let dwell 3-4 minutes, then spray it again 99% of the graffitti will come off with your PWr. If a small amount remains . re-spray those areas, dwell 3 minutes and pw. There will be NO shadows like with other products.
Pricing is your choice, but you are offering a speciality service that hardly anybody/nobody offers with a NO shadow guarantee. The job I did today was approx. 185 sq.ft, took about an hour, and paid $400.00. Made it profitable to un-winterize the PW'r.
I have all the stuff ready to test, but I haven't cleaned graffiti yet, everyone whom I have spoke with says it works wonders. As far as pricing, I have been trying to figure that out myself. I think its mostly overhead, solution and then time. Its a 1 man operation, spray dwell rinse.
