It's standard to clean before you paint. If someone called me to paint it I would definately add pressure washing in the price. Personally I wouldn't "try" to clean it, what if it doesn't clean? They are already pissed why string them any further. Paint it and move on.

What he's doing is nothing short of insurance fraud. Contact your insurance company and let them handle it. You're obligated to repaint the surface area that you damaged, however if he's claiming the whole house needs to be repainted, he's trying to take advantage of the situation.

 I agree with Mike 100%. Offer to paint the areas that are stained/bleached. If the HO is not OK with this, let the insurance company handle it.

Home yes. Came home early. Worse fear came true: I got sick in a 3rd world country. I could write a book of the last 5 days of my life.

Maybe in a few months it'll be funny. The moment I decided I would come home early, I had to drive an my mc into town to get wifi and call Travelocity. I was running a fever, then a typhoon hits out of no where. Coast Guard closes the water. Stuck on the island with no way to get to the city and airport. Finally catch ferry at 7am. Flight is at 12;30. The ferry is a 2.5 hr grind. Then 1 hour to airport. Sick as a dog, cough, stomach. I was hiding from those machines that can detect fever. Grinded out by immigration why Im alone now, wheres my wife? Couldn't eat for more than 48 hours. I took a total of 4 days to get home with no sleep.

It was like an episode on Locked Up Abroad. But then I was like "Step aside people, Im an American". Now I'm going to watch Dos Santos knock out Valesquez again.

I like Ed's Advice and glad to hear your back and doing better. How did you streak the house? I can see streaking a garage door, but what was the home exterior?

Oh deary me FFS !!! OMG and all that, just visted the house for pics for insurance the guys right it`s all feckin` over it, it only could have happened when we did the gutters my ground guy washed `em down with water just after I sprayed `em it`s never ever happened before it`s gotta be a reaction with this type of paint, but it`s done and we`re re-painting it and moving on.
it makes me a bit nervous of it happening again to be truthful.

What did you use to clean the gutters with?

The pictures look like a dirty house to me. Just turn it over to your insurance they will resolve it for you.
