Spray Wash Exterior Cleaning has performed a gentle soft-wash on the AMC 20 Theater at the Tallahassee Mall. As you can see from the "before" photos, this location was well overdue for a cleaning.

We used a crew of 5 (including me) and job took about 8 hours. On a project such as this, pedestrian safety is our biggest concern and our biggest nightmare. We popped gum around the entrance areas and pressure washed the concrete. However, the exterior of the building was concrete block (old paint) and synthetic stucco, both of which could not have withstood the rigors of high pressure. We attacked those building surfaces with a gentle soft wash and we delighted with the results.

Thanks for the shout out and would like to say this. Networking with other roof cleaning, house washing and pressure cleaning contractors is key ... even if they work in your backyard. BTW Ray, that job came out awesome!

Sweet job on the cleaning Ray. Soft washing on those buildings is definitely the only way to go. High pressure, pressure washing will tear a building like that up. Great work!

Ray,

Great job as usual. I do have a question. Are the large red signs made of plexiglass and if so how do they hold up to your mix? Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hank I've washed several marquee signs like that and have never noticed any adverse effects. The frames of the letters are metal and the fronts are some type of plastic. Typically they are UL listed and waterproof. Since they are designed for outdoor use, they stand up to almost anything pretty well.

Hey Ray!

I saw you might be interested in one of those ladder racks that Al picked up
over in Orange park. I was thinking about grabbing a pair. If we split the
gas bill it will be a no brainer for me to shoot over there. A 5 hour round
trip would be less then $100 in gas for me.

ps..not being pushy by no means, but just wondering if you sent the "thank
you" card yet. The reason I ask is because sometimes our mail get's mixed
with our neighbor who lives one street up from us. We are 2996 Candlestick
Drive and they are 2996 Cranbrook Drive. Even UPS get's it wrong sometimes.
They delivered my tile saw to them two years ago. LOL
