We found a train staition 5 miles away were at carnegie delie eaten a fat ass pastrami sandwich & ON ARE WAY TOO SCORES!!! My wife is pissed, But hey what you gonna do... Im posting right now from my boy's I phone ( cant drive home wit no lights right? lol) gonna rain all day tomarow any way... The only good thing about this is 3 of them gave me a check ... I LOVE NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is wrong on so many levels.

the saddest part is that he could of walked away with atleast 2500 after expenses but only walked away with a little more than 1300 for five jobs. I know the market up north jersey and its not the same down here. I really feel bad for ed thompson becuase guys like dan are going to slowly ruin his market also.

If he got done at 8:30 and 2 hrs to get home, thats 14 hrs. Between sh, fuel, and help he walked away with $1200 (WheN he gets the other 2 checks). He made $85/hr. If he thinks he did good, then its good.

$350 a roof??? in a town 5 minutes from where Bon Jovi & Bruce Springsteen live, are you serious??? people spend more than that on their teenager's lexus payments up there!!! and that's not an exaggeration.

We find the owner's of the largest homes, 6k sq ft roofs and up are toughest to get the bucks out of, we have cleaned 70k to 7M homes, and I think getting the 1M owner to part with 1100 for a total roof, gutter clean with us bagging is a 5-6 hour job for 2 guys, tomorrow we are doing 2 140k homes for 1100 total is a no sweat day, 6 hours max with no drama. The 7M owner did treat us like great.

The owners of 1m homes have lost about 250-300k around the mid west and the 150-250k houses have done a little better.

Dan, love ya brother, good to see ya posting again, where is Clyde???, nuther cool dude! you can get alot more money man. Alot of us guys up north here started out pricing on what the best in Florida get. Me included. . I'm pushing slowly 750 for avg rofs, and just sold a 450 curb appeal, hour n half drive.I drove there first in a ranger, better gas mileage. Seen the roof. No moss but black as chit! I sold something else too, cause the job higher priced?

Alot of guys do use google earth to do estimates. I still like to go to the house, upsell a house wash, if needed, gutter scrub, whatever man! 1500 on one house, one day!!!! Not always but sometimes, and thats usually less that what they paying a month on their house!

Dan you cutting yourself way too thin. You got that box truck and all, looking good...

If you have 5 homes next to each other they expect a deal $350 was a little low but i still made good money... & i paid my boy 50 per roof.... if it wasnt for the moss it would not used up as much chem.. some days you win some days not.
Tomarrow i have 4. 1 in mt laurel 1, 1 in marlton, 1 in medford & 1 all the way in jackson all at $450. and agian ill pay my guy probably $250 for the day. long days means nothing to me nor does my time. profits of over a $1000 a day is nothing to sneese at
I have a total of 14 roofs lined up and will have them all done by saturday with the furthist being near allentown pa.
Dont worry mike. I wont be as agressive next year just got back from my 2nd interveiw with United states steel. pretty much got the job. union, killer benis, & awsome money, its shift work so i wont be totaly out gonna do this on the side. Ive been self employed for 23 years ive had enough

Dan you just don't get it. I have 7 jobs this week with a gross of 5800. Less wear and tear than you and more profit. Think about that for a minute. My net after everything will be 4500. That's after payroll gas and chemicals. All done in a 35hr week.

Hey ed yea! i got paid 3 in checks and the other 2 paid cash so me and my buddy were in nyc with $700 & we spent it all!!!!!!! IT WAS A BLAST we slept in central park for 3hrs before we left LOL! When i got home my wife punched me right in the face hee hee...............

Thats great mike.... But under stand i do not power wash or clean gutters! ill do vinal sideing & stucco with the mix but i dont even own a power washer. & 90% of the time im only doing 1 side of the roof.

I was just like you back in the day gun hoe and all that. Belive me im makeing money You have a lot of focus You have too!!! You have young kids. My kids are grown my daughter is 20 & my son is 16 I had my succses in the late 90's early 2000.. now im chilling...........

ill post this run and have the break down for all to see from marketing to cash in hand Ill even give up my marketing stradege... But im warrning you theres gonna be some comedy biggrin
