My roof cleaning pump BROKE, LOL

Developed a zillion little pin hole leaks in the manifold. The new manifold alone costs 1200.00 for MY pump, LOL

Got a new one coming, gonna enjoy some time off! Bring it on Mr Hurricane, we be ready!

Well, if your gonna have a break down, it's best when there is a slow period I guess?

I With my nervous condition, I tend to overreact to most anything! I guess I'll take a pill and chill.

Poor Chuck Bergman! He serves SW Florida, and there are all KINDS of little cities and areas down there he has to aim his SEO at! It is a Bitch, it really is.

Google Ad Words are not all that expensive,  considering the return on investment IF they are done correctly. It is pretty obvious to me that Google is almost making it necessary to use Ad Words. Think about it ? They told us what to do for best SEO, and when we all did it, they have penalized us! 

Some think it is all a big conspiracy to force you to use adwords ?

I go along with the conspiracy theory. But it's a well planned one, that will never be openly cofessed to.

All that Google will drive me to, is taking phone book advertising out again.

Not everyone has gone strictly online. Before I will be "forced" to use adwords, I will take out a yellow pages ad.

I would have to see that adwords would be a very reasonable monthly cost and that I would see a major upswing in business, before I would ever stick with adwords.

I'd try adwords, but I wouldn't commit to a year contract or anything like that.

If it's $100.00 a month, I feel sure a local phone book ad would beat it?

I'm going to call the Verizon yellow pages up tomorrow. Of course, this is only me being paranoid about this sudden drop off in work.

2012 has been my busiest year ever and the only year I have ever hired extra help. BUT, just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get me!!!

 Only problem I see for you guys taking on a hurricaine is that the damage to many roofs will have people needing replacement to roofs that may have only needed cleaning.  I have a friend who does paintless dent removal who charges $150 per panel so if you have 1 or 5 dents same price, but with hail damage of maybe 20+ dents per panel, its cheaper to replace a panel and have it painted at a body shop than for him to spend hrs fixing all the dents.  I think the roofers will benefit from the hurricaine more than cleaners

That's true. When the center of Hurricane Charlie went within 10 miles of my house in 2004, it knocked maybe a dozen shingles off my roof, but closer to the center, was Port Charlotte / Punta Gorda and most roofs had to be replaced. Before they got to them all, it was blue tarped roofs everywhere! Very ugly!

I got 11 days of cutting up downed trees with a chainsaw. I had to cut it and drag it to the streetside. It took me 11 days and 2 chainsaws to do it and it took 2 1/2 10 ton dump trucks to haul away my piles!

I believe that work too about 5 years off my life. It aged me and I never recouperated really.
