I have gotten the opportunity to bid on 16-20 buildings that need roof cleanings, all from the state of Illinois, all exactly the same size. Roughly 40,000 square feet. Basic ranch building, easy access to all gutters, water, ect. This is easily the biggest bid/proposal we have done. I am just wondering, if I get all of them should, or even half of them...should I offer a discount? I dont want to come in to high and loose the chance at, but I dont want to do it to cheap either. I feel like this could be a big opportunity to change my business if I get all of these. Please any input would be great.

Personally, I would base my discounts on a tiered scale 1-5, no discount, 6-10 2.5% Discount 11-20, 4% discount. That way if you only got 1 or 2 you aren't having to discount.

Not really able to see how high this building is. Whats the ladder-to-roof transition? Are we looking at 32'ft ladder? 40ft? Doesnt look like there's a way to 2 step up that roof. So, if I was the guy going on that roof, I'd like to go up once, and come down once. Thats the job for me. So I'd make sure I had at least 300' of hose. If your a 12v guy than price in a pump, cuz you'll probably burn one out with that much hose. Over estimating at 450 gallons of mix which puts you at roughly 150 gallons of sh @ roughly $2/gal. 2 helpers @ $150 each.

Estimated materials $800

How much do you need to profit for the day? Could you do it in one day? I think yes. I'm coming in at $2475.00.
