I'm from georgia. I have my business in atlanta, savannah and birmingham, al. I have all the insurances, trucks, ladders, sales staff, store fronts etc. I just think i'm missing out on so many roofs we can clean. I really just need to know what is the proper equipment to get started i've read alot of posts and i see what people say they bought for start ups. I want to buy the proper equipment needed to start mostly for shingled roofs.

You have been a member for a 5hrs. Most who join read for about 3-5 months before asking a question like yours. There are many threads on here that explain what equipment you can use. I strongly suggest you continue to keep reading and you will find all the answers you need to get started.

I'm going to buy The fat boy bandit and also the 100 gallon aluminum tank skid to get started and see how that goes

Very good chioce. Now you need o find your chemical supplier and start your marketing plan. Also it would be wise to buy a spare pump just in case.

My marketing plan should be already set. I already have business development people on staff that deal with insurance companies, realtors, property mgt. companies, etc. Should be able to fire in the whole quickly let alone my sales guys dealing with customers daily. Wish me luck!!

Thanks Gary. The website is 3-4 years old and is done is flash. I have another being created that's not in flash so my keywords can be searched better in google. I have lot of stuff that needs to be added which will be on the new site. Thanks for checking it out though! Also thanks for the help today!

Flash backed up with HTML works great. That really is a nice website, a shame to waste it.

Welcome to RCIA Zachary! The 12V fatboy is a good pump. Unless you want to fail on a job I suggest not only a spare fatboy (prewired ready to go) but also a spare battery. You can hook up a marine switch between the 2 batteries.

Why a 100 gallon aluminum tank? Plastic is lighter & cheaper. I prefer 125 gallons as some large roofs taht I clean require that much and more. In the cases where I think that it might take more I but an extra 35 gallon drum of SH on board the trailer that I can pump into the roof cleaning tank. I suggest painting the roof cleaning tank silver as i reflects the sun and reduces heat in the tank. Heat & the ultraviolet rays from the sun kills SH.

Marcus he means the aluminum skid with the 100 gallon tank from pressuretek. Not aluminum tank.

I would look into an all-flo pump. You will end up getting one anyway. In my opinion it is the only way to go because it lasts. I've tried the 12v pumps, but they never lasted more than a month or 2. Just make sure you rinse it out good everytime and maintain your compressor.
