I think S percarbonate gives a foam like that. Does the video get into the pressure washing part of the job?

He is using a product called roof wash from wash safe. I bought a bucket when I first got into roof cleaning, chits a joke. Says it will take out the black streaks in a few months but they recommend the use of a pressure washer. Sprayed some on my house let it sit for a month to see what it would do......nothing!
Bought my 5800 and sprayed some love up there, roof looks brand new! Plus there customer service sucks, never once got as return email from them....

what was the point of the "roof wash". If your gonna do it wrong and pressure wash the roof anyways, just skip the "roof wash" and blast the heck out of those shingles. The roofers in the area are sure to appreciate this technique.

I did the same thing with the roof wash, (still got half a bucket) I'm pretty sure it's just sod percarbonate.

Ditto on skipping the foam cycle. The roof did not look much different at all when he got done applying the witch's brew his buddy whipped up in that garbage can...

"yes maam, for $749.95, we will mix up a batch in this here plastic barrel with this here wood stick, and then we apply it with a garden hose. Then the real magic starts, we will crank up our handy pressure washer and rip the color right off your roof. But hey, when we are done it sure will look cleaner... We prefer being paid in cash if you don't mind..." "yes ma'am, we have a warranty, stenciled right here on the bottom of our shoes..."

I guess they have not heard of roof *******. At least they are innovative enough to use a surface cleaner for blasting the granules off...

Competition like this is what makes us glad to have found professional softwashing as taught by masters such as we found at RCIA.

Thanks for teaching us how to do it right and safe. The financial rewards are almost secondary to the fun we are having with this service for our neighbors.

He could have sprayed it with baby shampoo and then blasted it clean with a pressure washer!

That stuff did nothing.

The pressure washer did though!

It removed all that mildew! Plus probably 1/3 of the roofing granules with it!

Surprised they turn the comments off on the video. With more "dislikes" than there are "likes", I'm sure it's a real stand up product with so much good to say about it.
