EXACTLY. Thats why I can offer a Certified, Professional Service, at a very fair price and not need to compensate for gas prices. There is NO SLANDER there. JUST THE TRUTH.

I really do not play this game... but.... because I'm here... I pay $1.60 a gallon for SH. That's even less than gas was when OBAMA took office. ($1.85 for those who didn't know)

Isn't there supposed to be some integrity in posting here on the RCIA. I made a promo post this morning for an area that I worked in this week. 5 minutes later, another PA roof cleaner posts in the PA section that he is the ONLY certified roof cleaner in that same area, Mechanicsburg PA. (obviously trying to undermine me) This is not true, I haven't paid to have exclusive rights to any location and wasn't aware that anyone else has either. Further more, how can one advertise 20 years experience roof cleaning but, have written in their first post as a Cettified member( in early 2012) that they have only been doing roofs for 2 years??? I have been on this forum for since 2008 and have ALWAYS worked in the same areas and have never blasted anyone who works near me or miles away from me. As a matter of fact, there is another roof cleaner right here in my HOMETOWN and we have constant communication with each other and certainly don't bash one another. I have helped many guys who have called me with questions, I have contributed to this form with paid fees, donations, relevant posts and I have attended roundtables and met other roof cleaners. I never see any of this type of conduct going on in any other areas, even the areas that are saturated with roof cleaners. These posts go directy to the internet for the whole world to see and posting mistruths is damaging not only to me but, to the integrity of the RCIA. I beleive the moderators should set some guidlines for posting that DOES NOT allow one member to bash another member, for purpose of making themselves "look" better. I though the RCIA was a team effort and I have been a team player. So lets put on our big boy pants and play as a TEAM!

Listen you guys will have better success working together rather than against each other. Maybe a phone call is in order to work out some details about how you can both coexist in mechanicsburg pa. We are here to help each other not piss in each others cheeros.

I see you have been editing your post and want to clairfy......I am a Pennsylvania Roof Cleaner so, that would make my posts in the PA section relevant, right? If you choose not to post there, that is your decision, not mine. The PA section is where homeowners go to look for a roof cleaner and view their work. Furthermore, we were directed by the moderators to post in our various state sections to work with the new homeowners website, to boost our and the RCIA's SEO. Look at your post and then mine, I base my posts on my work, not on why I am the best choice for a homeowner's roof cleaning needs because I am closer to them. FYI Dallastown is a small, rural community with a population of about 4000, Mechanicsburg is 1/2 the area with more than double population 0f apx 9000. But, I am not going to continue this p*ssing match with you. I don't care if I have more gold stars than you.... The way I operate my business is, I strive to be a leader in this industry and want to get my name and work out on the internet as much as possible, and if you Google me, I have been very successful at doing so. I will not settle for being a follower.

I think it's ok to make promotional posts as often as anyone wants. It's just best and common courtesy to
stay out of the competitions promotional posts, but if you do post, make it a compliment. Don't try to hijack the thread.

Donnie, you've done the same to me in my Lewes DE post. I don't care if you post in there and I don't care if you target Lewes DE. Competition is part of business, but posting that you service Lewes DE and listing your phone number in my post, is just common. Think about what your doing.

There is no need for ME to admit anything. working on the post at the same time has ZERO to do with posting that you are the ONLY CERTIFIED Roof Cleaner in Mechanicsburg, which as of now has been edited. Point is you are not the onlyl one. Trust me, I am not worried about competing with you, I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are PLENTY of roof for us all to clean. Apparently you just don't like me in your back yard and you don't have too, I could really care less. You have not changed the way I run my business or areas I work in and will NOT change the way I run my business or where I work. We just did this little dance a couple of weeks ago, when you did that other promo post slandering me. Remember that one? You edited that one too. I have an Idea, You worry about you, and I'll worry about me. Problem solved.

Just like so and so is the only certified in their hometown, even tho another certified contractor services that area. Really, you are upset about that ? Unreal.

YOU are the ONE crying and complaining. Not me. You think because you were at this forum longer, you can do whatever you want to. Then, when someone gives you a taste of your own medicine.... You cry and complain.

I never whine or cry about you or how you run your business. But, you have bad talked me and instant messaged about me. I'm here, I'm not going anywhere.

Good for you.... Drive an hour to work. I drive 10 minutes. Plenty of dirty roofs up here.... When I get too busy, I'll be sure to give them your number.

This seems like another good time to mention that everyone should move to Florida to clean roofs. Hahaha! There is a certified roof cleaner on every corner just waiting for the phone to ring. Of course there are really only 2 maybe 3 that truely are. The rest just all claim to be. Ya just gotta learn how to go with the flow. There are way more dirty houses and roofs than there are cleaners and I know that I can't clean them ALL.

Chet, I co-existed with you for years and years. Never, ever had a problem. I owned the Biggest Pro Deck Sealing company in PA at one time. I was Sherwin Williams Biggest PA Account. I saw your rigs, you saw my vans, and we never had a problem.

This Internet thing is a double edged sword. Yes, you can get leads... but you can also get addicted and all worked up... over nothing.

There are 1000's and 1000's of roofs in Central PA to be cleaned... there will be 100's of others jumping in to make a quick buck... or feed their kids... who knows... ?

People do stupid things when they are mad, or feel threatened or ... they just do stupid things because at that particular second.... they are stupid. I have had my share of mistakes... I'll have more.

Eric.... Let's end this. Dude, I'm sorry it has come to this. There is so much work out there...., right here... I'm looking at 5 houses as I type that need their roofs cleaned. Homeowner Education and a LEGITIMATE PROFESSIONAL Organization to educate the homeowners will benefit EVERYONE.

Let's concentrate on that.

Wanna here something funny. While I was posting earlier I got a call from a customer down my way looking to get their pool deck cleaned. Guess where the lead came from...another contractor friend who lives just north of me. I already contacted the customer and wrapped it up. They will have a clean pool area by next Wednesday afternoon.

Point being. Working together works a whole lot better than working against each other. Let's all play nice. Its a big playground.
