Just got 110 gallons delivered today in 2drums. I setup my pump ontop of the drums using a 5850. I have 5 (5 gallon pails i fill up-blue) and i put whatever i need into my mix tank the morning of the job. Having the sh delivered will save me atleast 50-60 hrs of driving tbis yr back and forth to the chem store. Plus gas. I also am getting cheaper than i have been for the last 2 yrs.
I have used sh that was 4 months old before and it worked just as good. My supplier said that it breaks down 1-2 pionts every 30 days. Those 2 drums i have will be used up by next friday maybe sooner so it wont be sitting around to long. I will be ordering another 2 drums next thursday and they will be here by friday.
that a pretty sweet set up.. has anyone thought about getting a large holding tank to get SH delivered in real bulk? say 200 gallons or so at a time?
the problem is there is no pumper truck service here in south jersey( i called around it dosent exist) So the largest quantity i can get is 55 gallon drums. I should be up to 3-4 drums a week by mid april.
That's what I figured, I'm still using the 5850 for everything. Looking good!
Im actually going to switch over to 2 5850's on the trailer for spraying and use my all flo for transfering from the drums. I will be able to take my massive air compressor (not as big as gary's) off my trailer and free up about 4 ft of space.

Mike I transfer with my All-Flo and it sucks, It's slow and you have to babysit it because it pulsates and the hose will come out of the contaniner.
I have a 200 gl tank, my issue was that the pool supplier's SH was either 14.5 or 60 days old, thinking about a delivery with their supplier, but I don't know about adding 100 gl of fresh to 100 gl of 3-4 weeks old. Fresh is best for us. Just need to have a larger backlog of work. Pool supplies don't really care if the product is 60-90 days old, they sell it without issue's.
Mike if you have some left over mix dont be afraid to juice it up with some fresh sh just add some waterr and your good. My supplier gets the drums weekly from buckmans so they are really fresh.
