 They keep taking turns...They have gotten about 125-150 sq ft done since I posted this. It's pretty painful to watch. I'm waiting for the power washer to shake off the roof and land on the ground. lol...

I just did a roof that was being done similarly.

2 guys were taking turns pressure washing the roof in this photo [I wasn't there to see it} The president of the H.O.A. drove by and saw the red coloring running down the driveway and paved ditch and talked to the "nearly 90 year old" lady who owned it and told her the guys were taking all the color off of her roofing.

It took a lot of arguing [he told me] to get them to stop and only a threat to call the police made them leave. The next day I cleaned it without pressure and inspected what they had done. In the picture, you can see what they did. From left to right, it looks pinkish. That's because these are not "COLOR THROUGH" tiles. All the coloring is on top and under that is gray cement. 50% of the coloring is gone and you can see through to the cement. You can see the 1/4 of the roof they did is pink and starting just behind the flag pole and to the right it is dark red, where I cleaned it. The president of the HOA said these guys had worked from 8am until 2pm, when he stopped them. That's 6 hours to "do" "damage" 1/4 of the roof. I did the other 3/4 in 2 1/2 hours and did no damage.

It's "ALMOST" funny, what some of these jokers pull, but not funny for the nice old lady, who lost years off the coloring of her roof!

I could do mine right, but I couldn't put back what the 2 Power wash guys took off.

Never match it.

They have no problem with it's appearance as it is.

If it gets worse [and it will] in a few years, I can spray it out with Dyco Cement Roof Coating.

 Hahahaha! That was good.

I was sitting out front yesterday watching the show and the mailman showed up. We were both laughing about it. He did however tell me that it was the owner of the house and they were doing their own roof. Anything to save a buck I guess.

Anyway, it was good to know that it was the owner and not some fly by night outfit out cleaning roofs like this.

 Umm, NO!!

IMO it's not too bright for someone to try to do their own roof when they are not used to it. Especially bringing the Pressure Washer up on the roof the way they did. If they really wanted help/someone to do it for them they could have called someone. It's not lke they didn't have a choice out of the 467,568 roof cleaners in my area.

BTW... The roof is still not done. They still have more on the west side to do, the whole south side and the East/ back of the house to finish.

and surley you had some left over mix from yesterday why couldn't you of jumped up on your neighbors roof and helped them out for 1 hour, 3 doors up from you? what kind of neighbor are you? lol

 I live in Saint Petersburg. My rig is in a shop in Clearwater. I don't even know the neighbors. I am not embarassed to post it (seen it before you changed it) :)

I will Love thy neighbor when he is willing to write a check for services rendered.
