We got a call from a guy in York, PA who received a notice from his homeowners insurance requiring him to clean his roof or risk being dropped by his insurance carrier. Has anyone else ever gotten a job that was required by the homeowners insurance company?
We've done several as well. Also, escrow jobs where the bank underwriter required the cleaning before closing. All big moss jobs (Moss is the State Plant in Washington!)
We have done a bunch also. Most all of them have been done because their Insurance company won't renew their policy until the roof either gets cleaned or replaced. Needless to say they go for the least expensive first. I haven't heard of any of them having to be replaced after we clean them.
