The content on other websites have been previously indexed by Google and will be considered "duplicate" content if you copy and paste from any given site to yours. You will actually get a small penalty from Google and will not be considered an industry leader.

I have posted this before but it's worth saying again. To be a trusted, reliable industry leader in Googles eyes, you must have "original content". It works best if you continually add fresh, original content to your site and blogs. Google spiders eat this fresh content up like a strung-out crack head.

Take a look at Chris Tuckers site and blogs. They are LOADED with original content and he has been greatly rewarded with very high rankings in the SERPS (search engine results page). This forum is another example. It has fresh original content added daily and that is just one of the many factors in Googles algorithm that gives the place such a high PR (page rank).

As many Google updates and algorithm changes have come and gone through the years, there is one thing that has remained a constant ... "content is king".

One more tip ... when witing your content, don't stuff it with keywords. Make it readable. Believe it or not, Google can tell when pages are spammed with keywords and will slap ya for it and put your site in the sand box. Hope this helps.
