Just curious who uses Buckmanns as your SH supplier? Mike from Premiere Power Wash, wants to setup and RCIA discount with Buckmanns. It might be easier on him, if we have a list of companys willing to purchase SH from Buckmanns.
Pat its right outside of philadelphia,pa. The problem is they will not deliver to us in new jersey becuase of all the distibutors like the pool stores and the chemical supply stores. They basically supply all the places in mid to south jersey. The cheapest i can get is at 2.20 a gallon.
yes but I need to order about 200 gallons a week which during peak time is no problem. It could be anywhere from 2-400 a week. I used to get it at 2.00 a gallon but the price went up in the middle of the summer.
I'm guessing because of state laws, they won't carry it over to NJ? I was thinking if we have like 4-5 NJ guys, that might convince them. So what PA guys use buckmanns?
Do you have a commercial place that you run your business out of? If not, Buckmans will not deliver to you. They are pretty tough on delivering to residential addresses. I can guarantee they aren't going to do anything major with the pricing because they have no idea if any of you are going to be in business next year. They don't have to negotiate because they are already the cheapest around.

Dan I can get 30 guys together but just as brian stated they will not deliver to a residential property. They dont want to make thier distributors upset. I have to work thru a distributor to get better pricing. I have found one with free delivery. If you pay under 2.50 a gallon then i wouldn't fight it to much unless your ordering 2-400 gallons a week.

Dan, to follow up on Brian's point, Buckman's really doesn't need our business and they're most likely not going to do anything major for us in terms of group discounting, at least that was the impression I got from them when I mentioned it ... If they can knock off .10 for the group I'd consider ourselves likely but I really wouldn't be shocked if they just give us a price and tell us to take it or leave it, they're in the position to be able to do that.
Most chemicle companies are like that. The majority of them wouldn't even return my call.
Tom you got a place up kinda close to you, I forget the name I use to get it there right before I moved to Jersey. It was a pretty big place, I think it started with an F
Clyde, if you remember let me know. I went through the phone book and on the internet and nothing.
Tom what part of Cleveland do you live, man I been gone for 12 years I can't remember where it was, I was only there one time. Im thinking it was south east of cleveland, Im thinking it would probably still be a 30 minute drive for you. but yea they sold 35, and 55, I don't remember if they filled tanks up or not.
do you have anything near down town cleveland, or Parma, Euclid, area?
Ya I get it, Buckmanns is the big fish, and they don't have any competition, so why would they negotiate, but guys I don't like the negative attitude. Lets be a little more positive. Maybe they will knock off .10c maybe .20 that would be great. I talked to them last year, and they said they would deliver residential. I will have to double check on that.
