He and his Son/Helper are in Lakeland Florida, and they are coming by to meet me, before they drive across Tampa Bay to see Lori.
He wants to take some pictures, and pick my brain, and meet me.
If any roof cleaner who is a forum member ever wants to stop by, I like having company! I have no "secrets" from members of the RCIA, and will do my best to keep you from making mistakes.
Always ASK me before you spend a lot of money, consultations with me are FREE for all Paid RCIA Members. IF you are too freaking cheap to fork out 100 dollars to help pay the forum bills, and for Gary and I to buy a decent Cigar every now and then, do not expect a whole lot of help.
I just donated 150 this month for all the info I get out of this forum, well worth it!!!!
Thanks Eric!
The Father and Son Team from Indiana Roof Cleaning just left.
We all went out to eat, and they took a bunch of pictures of stuff they will be posting soon. They are going to see Lori right now. I gave them a 1/2 Yamada that needed rebuilt, and Lori's Dad Rex can rebuild it for them.
It is a 1/2 inch Yamada Poly Pump, I have no plans for it, since we have converted over to 1 inch pumps vs the smaller 1/2 pumps.
I bet they will tell you they learned a LOT from their short visit with me
Because of some, not all local competitors, there are things better left not posted here, things I could teach people that I don't want to fall into the wrong hands.

Yes Eric, I think they learned a lot, in their short time here.
Visited with Chris Tucker yesterday, awesome experience. We appreciate Chris taking the time to chat with us and exchanging roof cleaning experiences, techniques, and equipment. I'm sure each roof cleaning rig is set up by personal preferences and the type of equipment we use varies from roof cleaner to roof cleaner. But, it is educational to see and exchange thoughts considering this and how our profession is constantly changing. Chris, THANK YOU, again for your time and expertise. Have a great season. Following are some pics from our time with Chris.
W/O revealing exactly what I taught you guys. would you agree there are some things I just can't teach on a forum, for obvious reasons ?
This is why I want so much to do a roof cleaning school, so I can talk about stuff we talked about, free from evil people, who will twist stuff around to make themselves look big, and you look small.
Some of these evil people lurk here on the forum, just waiting for you to post anything they can use against you. A long time ago, back in 1999, I asked the question on a science forum how and why does chlorine kill plants ?
Now, I have this idiot here on a website locally saying "Apple Roof Cleaning knows and admits he will kill your plants"
He has put up pictures of dead plants, and attributed them to me.
Like I told you, my roof cleaning truck WAS all nice and shiny new, at one time.
Here are some pics of it, when she was first built.

Nice Chris
Tank, Pump, Air and Hose. It's set up very Simple. If something stops working, you go straight to the souce.
I agree! That rig is set up to do thousands of square feet of roof cleaning without having to reload with more shingle cleaning mix.
We mainly do tile and shingle roof cleaning, and softwash with shingle strength mix by simply wetting down with water first the surface to be cleaned, then using shingle mix that is diluted to softwash strength by the water.
Mixing on the job slows you down too much. We believe our roof cleaning system to be the best. I have had the tank of pure chlorine that you drain into a mix tank, and add water on the job. Too slow, and too much hassle.
Now, we pull up to a job, and simply pull the feed tub out of one tank, and put it into the other tank, depending on what kind of roof it is.'
Thats a pretty nice set up.. i used to live near lakeland actually... in winter haven.. small world lol.. i was down there for 2 years in my previous career

Yes, small world!
