This unique Structure houses the Presbyterian University Center at Florida State University. Spray Wash was contracted to clean the entire exterior of the building, including a very delicate 60 year old slate tile roof. As seen in the pictures, the results speak for themselves!
Technical Notes:
Roof was washed at 30% SH mixture with Green Wash Additive. Brick was softwashed at 20% SH mixture with Green Wash additive. No other soaps or surfactants were used. Concrete sidewalks were pressure washed. 35' lift used, Spray Wash crew of four technicians finished this job in 8 hours. Roof and very dirty areas of brick were sprayed twice
no rinsing on the roof, we had a pretty good chance of rain today (wednesday). Seriously, the algae was 1/4 inch think on some parts, so I felt the additional dwell time was warranted on the roof. Seeing as it was slate, I knew the chemicals wouldn't hurt it to be left up there.

Ray, I love the green wash, huge boost in SH performance...the brick work speaks for itself. I would have typically sprayed brick like that at 40% in the past.
Actually did a roof in the rain today in apalachicola, will post pics later. Have never been able to get satisfactory results in the rain before, but the green wash made it happen.

Magnificent job Ray! That green wash really works, no matter what non-believers say. It just plain makes it easy to mix your solution. Yes it adds to the cost but it saves by reducing the amount of SH that you have to use and other fringe benefits.
