I’m posting this in the training forum because I would like members and potential new members to realize the importance of this site. In just the past month, I gave Ray Burke (Spray-Wash) two fantastic leads that could possibly land some serious bucks! One was fourteen buildings/ 3 stories tall and another that was four buildings/ also 3 stories. I am not equipped to handle these projects and didn’t hesitate to recommend Ray. In return, he could throw me a few 1800 s.f. bones (roofs) if he lands those jobs.

What I’m trying to get at is... even if you are competing in the same area, you need to network and make friends within the industry. One day you may get in a jam on a project that you are in need of extra labor or equipment and if you’re not networking with people in your profession, your f*cked.

The RCIA not only provides great information but also gives members the ability to network within their own community which is a great benefit, as you can see above.

Anyone questioning joining the RCIA might be missing out on some great prospects or better yet, a few good friends!

Ray is absolutely correct! I appreciate the leads and most definitely reciprocate, and even pay a referral fee on these projects if they should come to fruition. Should have already written here publicly thanking him, but were are in the middle of a 270 unit, 13 building complex this week.

I am literally booked until the end og November right now an would gladly send him my residential stuff. Sad part is, my residential I'd pretty dang slow right now.

Thanks for the referrals Ray! Everything else he said is true too, but it's 5:30 am and I am not very eloquent at this hour. So I will just say " ditto".

Like I've said, every job we have gotten lately has been a result of direct sales..going out and getting the job..Incoming phone calls are verrrry slow.

Btw...we pay 20% on referrals !!!

Good to see fellow members networking.  It is important to know your competiion.  Sorry to hear that the resiential side is slow there also.  I hope it picks up with a Thanksgiving rush...  Next year may not be much better since it is an election year.
