Link Buttons on every post...

It just occured to me after reading a post Chris wrote in the SEO forum that you can use those seemingly annoying buttons on the left side of every thread to post Ads directly to your account on various social websites like Facebook and Twitter.

For instance, by clicking on the little tweet button and then clicking on the Tweet button in the pop-up page, it posts the title to your thread and a link to whatever forum your thread came from.

What a great way to get multiple SEO's chasing your posts! Not only that, you can promote other peoples work too.

That's awsome.

You may want to use a hashtag on your tweets also. That's how people search for stuff there.

If you go to your Twitter account and enter #Softwash in the search box, you'll see a tweet I posted yesterday.

I tried #RCIA, but it's already being used for something else.

Thanks Tom!

I just posted another tweet over there:

ECRC_Softwash Roof Whisperer
Want to learn how a roof is cleaned properly or find a roof cleaning contractor in your area? Visit …of-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com #TheRICA #TCOT

#TheRICA could be a great hastag for this board.

#TCOT means: Top Conservatives on Twitter. (HUGE user group and they're from all over the country/world).

There's also one called #TLOT (Top Liberals of Twitter), but good luck getting and business from that group!

Those are the 2 biggest user groups I know of, but I'm sure there are others.

So my post just got splashed on both of those groups. (#TheRCIA being new). If other people here start using #TheRCIA, twitter users will respect the hashtag and not try to swipe it.

Edit: Roof Whisperer... LMAO!

You can aso draw attention to other people on Twitter using a person's nickname preceeded by @.

For example. Earlier today I Tweeted:

ECRC_Softwash Roof Whisperer

Meet the owner of Apple Roof Cleaning-Tampa FL & Founder of The Roof Cleaning Institute of America: @Roof_Cleaning #REI #RealEstate #TheRCIA
That post was splashed in the #REI (Real Estate Investors) group #RealEstate group and on the #TheRCIA hashtag. Chris should also be able to see it in his timeline.

LOL, I about GAVE UP, because few seem serious about SEO, and don't USE all the cool stuff I put on the forum for them.

The MORE stuff you can put out on the Internet any way you can, the better!

I agree with the importance of SEO's Chris. Posting links to your work is vital in today's internet society. People just have to be mindful that all leads will eventually lead back to their own websites.

I'm sittin' here chompin at the bit to start posting some work. I think I may have gotten my first roof cleaning job in over 6 years today. This lady, a friend of my wife's, has had me do some carpentry work and some pressure washing for her, so we'll see. They're going out for lunch Tuesday and I'm hoping she'll say something about then.

I'm still not at the point of advertising yet. So it's word of mouth for now.

I've got 2 trailers in the process of being rehabbed and my skid is sitting on the soft wash trailer. Not good.

Meanwhile I have the fatboy setup on a 2' wide peice of diamond plate decking I just took off the PW rig. I might just weld a 2" frame under the diamond plate and keep the soft wash rig mounted on it.

Anyway, until I start getting some work all I can do here is help with stuiff like this. I used to operate a message board, so I have a pretty good understanding of the importance of SEO's and where to go to get them to come to us.

The next time you add a post to Twitter from here, take a look at the number of guests on the forum, then tweet, then watch the guest count here go up by 3-6 visitors. Those are SEO bots that lurk on Twitter indexing the link from your tweet.
