Vinyl siding problem

We have cleaned alot of vinyl siding in the last year and have never had a problem.  Recently we cleaned a roof for a guy and his siding.  The roof came out great but the siding turned blotchy tanish brown in some areas.  We used our house wash mix which is 5 g of SH, 45 g of water, and amonyx lo.  We have cleaned vinyl siding on old and newer buildings and have had no issues until now.   Any ideas?

Had the same thing happen to the vinyl windows on my home. As Gary said, it should turn back to normal in a few days. I've also used a light oxalic and water mix to remove the stains instantly. Vinegar and water may work as well.

After treating mold with a house-wash-strength solution, it can be mold that clings like a film which requires a higher pressure rinse at close quarters. Just sayin. . .

the yellow brownish discoloration is simply a chemical reaction, just leave it alone and once the sun hits it, it will turn white again, usually  as fast as 5 minutes, but will take longer if the sun doesn't hit it.

Thanks guys. Your the best. I was starting to freak when I first saw it. Went back today and it has improved alot. Not perfect but getting there. Most of the siding effected is in the shade most of the day. The siding is so much cleaner now the homeowner hasn't said anything about it.
