We have a roof and shingle cleaning Saturday and it looks like 39 deg. for the low. Even though it says 71 for the high, we won't reach that until about 5:00pm but should reach the upper 50's by mid morning. What's everyone's lowest temperature before you start laying down your mix?

Hi Ray. This would be a good question for the Premium area, as some other options can be discussed. You'll be fine this Saturday. Maybe sleep in a little
Also remember that roof will be holding a little heat from the previous day...the surface you are laying down on will be warmer than 39. Just hope this wind lays down...I cleaned a roof today and I think half the neighborhood got a free wash!

Shingle roofs always seem to still clean up in lower temps as long as we are not talking about 20 degrees. Tile roofs are a different story. I normally postpone them until the tiles warm up. I have wasted more time and more chemicals trying to clean tile roofs in fifty deg weather. I wont touch them anymore until they are at least in the sixties.
