What do you see wrong with this picture??

I was doing another tile job in Kissimmee today and noticed the noise of a pressure washer in the distance and seen a guy pressure washing a tile roof in the neighborhood disbelief so when I was finished I had to do the drive by looking to see who it was.

I was trying to get a picture so I can put a "What not to do" on my blogs. I did a drive by picture shooting that was horrible so I turned around and tried again with no success when my helper noticed what was actaully going while I was paying attention to taking the picture. When he told me what he saw I was in disbelief and had to do round 3 on the drive by photo.

The last try my helper took the picture, we actually stopped and had to back up a few feet to get a good picture and the guy on the ladder even looked right at us and waved hello. I had a laugh about it and wanted to see if anyone can see what was wrong with this picture beside the fact that they were pressure washing this tile roof.

Geez, at the very least they could have added a longer garden hose and just tossed it on the roof. Haha!

I think the guy holding the machine has an unfiltered Pallmall hanging out of his mouth. Other than that everything looks kosher.

I cleaned a roof for a guy who fell off the roof with his pressure washer...no

He said that where he was standing pressure washing and started getting the roof wet & it became slipery and he started sliding down his tile roof and then he grabbed his pressure washer hose.  He had a short hose attachedto his pressure washer so he had it on the roof also.  Fortunately where he slid off was ony one story.  He sat by his pool and watched me the entire time I cleaned his roof.  After I finished he could not believe how little a time it took me to clean his roof.  He was more than happy to pay to have it professionally cleaned instead of sliding off of the roof...lol  biggrin

Yes, that was the kick I got out of the situation. 25 feet of hose so he put the pressure washer on the ladder. I almost stopped to lend him my 100 footer, but then thought that if he falls I can also be liable by partaking in this. I didn't want anyone getting hurt, but then again I am not tagging myself as a roof pressure washer.

pressure washing tiles causes water intrusion, breaks apart mortar, chips tiles, removes glaze, does not last but 4 to 6 months and is dangerous.

Holy Cow!!!! I almost killed myself helping a friend softwash his parent's tile roof. It is slick as snot up there! I have always said that I have a tremendous amount of admiration for you guys for getting up there.

I can't imagine just getting off the ladder with that Home Depot pressure washer! That guy on the ladder has a sort of dorkey smile on his face in my opinion! Do you think his 3 million dollars worth of insurance coverage is interested in this shot? What about OSHA! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am kidding guys. This is Florida! Who the heck carries insurance for pressure washing a roof? LOL
