<---- That is pretty much what I look like right now. One eye open and one shut, I was pulling my hose back toward the reel to roll it up today and the barb broke shooting 40% mix in my left eye. My helper was in the back rinsing and I needed water fast so I scrambled for a hose in the front of the house until I got the fire under control somewhat and got my 1st aid kit but my saline wash was pretty much gone so I have to go with Nestle pure life water and a clean shop rag so we could finish the job, man that brought back memories of getting the juice in the eyes for the first time at Mallard and now have a funky headache and all I see right now is a fuzzy halo from my juiced eye.
Hope it gets better, the first time I went to the ER and the doctor gave me an eyecup and saline wash and charged me a lot of money. ER Bill, Dr. Bill some other crazy charges. Now I just do it myself save the money.

Ive gotten a drop or 2 in my eye before, just dries up for a while. I cant imagine getting blasted in the eye! Thats got to really suck! Best wishes too ya Bro!
Been there done that. I have actually had to drive home with one eye covered because I couldn't see.
Here is a little trick. Next time it happens rinse your eyes or eye out with milk. Think Im kidding? Google it. I learned this aong time ago. Even if you have to ask the customer for some when it happens. Im sure they will be more than happy to help you out.
No kidding! Milk? I will have to try it, I have always kept a bottle of saline solution in my 1st aid kit my helper at first was a pansy and got a mist drop of exterior mix 10% in his eye and fished out in the lawn like he was having a seizure and used almost every drop. So I had to use water and a rag, and I had to drive home with one eye open or kept covering it with one hand since my a/c was irritating it and it was raining.

Was that 1%, 2%, whole milk, skim milk or low fat? Seriously though...glad to hear your sight is getting back to normal!

Fortunately sounds like no permanent damage. Thanks Larry for the milk trick. The more I think about it though, full-time eye protection when working with chems. may be the way to go ...glta!!!
