I have not had that problem unless the gutters have been painted by the home owner.

I would tone it down to about 30SH-70%H2O and rinse them soon after it gets on them. 50/50 for tile maybe but unnecessary for asphalt. This can happen if the love is left on the gutter for long periods of time and can be much worse if the gutter enamel is already failing.

What are u using in your mix? Are you using any Sodium Hydroxide or TSP? These products can also cause paint loss on the gutters.

no just hangtite,apple cent,sh and h2o. this was a tile roof. always tone it down for shingle roofs. customer wasnt upset really but i am. she said was painted before so i told her that he probably didnt use correct paint or prep it correctly.this has been the only house this has happened like this it brought it to bare metal couldnt believe it first for me.
