I looked at the ads, the one on the right is my pick. Like Chris said here in Florida it is a lost cause but in Tennessee it might work. Try valpak too or direct mailing to certain areas, that still works here somewhat. All I can say is nothing ventured nothing gained...


I have property in Hixson, TN 16 acres on Lake Chickamauga with approx 450' foot of shoreline on S. Gold Point Cir. Been in my family since 1932 and I am probably going to move there sooner than later to pursue my tournament fishing career if I ever sell Tropical. I LOVE TENNESSEE, Memphis not so much, no offense a little too gangster there for me but I must have stayed in a bad part of town too.

 One pic goes on the front of the seat back the other goes on the back. Im hoping people will be curious enuf to scan my QR code. The QR code will take them directly to my website. I will be able to manage specials and discounts from there. All I have to do is change my website never have to change a flyer.

Im also going to have tshirts made up with the QR code on the back. People will be curious or just want to play with their new app and BAM I have them looking at my website.

 Chris, There have been several direct mailed coupon magazines here in the Tampa area. Some worked great sometimes, but ValPak nearly always worked, except in the summer.

Some of these coupon magazines will actually mail out 75,000 copies, like they say. Then, the next month they will lie about how many they mailed. ValPak is too reputable to play games, but they are more expensive. I guess u get what u pay for ?

i would not do this type of advertisement. I would stick with direct mailers. These type of ads like this and placemats and lets say golf score cards just do not work or bring in the ROI. Just speaking from personal experiance Becuase i have tried it all. Also sorry for the negativity but im just trying to save you money.

Negativity not a problem. Too late to save money. Already committed for six months. The other contractors have been doing this for four years straight. So something must work.

Every summer is always my slowest time, I find myself doing strange and unusual stuff like making music videos with my daughters stuffed animals it's that slow. I do one or two jobs a day 4 or 5 days a week only making 2000 to 3000 a week which sux but have never zeroed in a week since I started Tropical. I am saving for retirement since it is forcasted that you will need something like $20 million to do it comfortably in 2045.

 

True that on the  "you get what you pay for"

 I don't have to use it anymore since I have residual income from constant clients calling me, but it worked and like Chris said not in the summer, 14 years doing this and every summer seems slower than any other time of year.
