Wow, 5 percent surfactant for 100 gallons will be 5 gallons soap, WAY TOO MUCH SOAP biggrin

TSP is a very effective cleaner, just not as easy to use as dumping in some soap. But make no mistake, very few things can equal TSP's effectiveness as an added cleaner for roof cleaning.

Using TSP with a surfactant, you can drop down to 1/4 to 1/2 cup per total gallons mix.

1/2 of 125 gallons is 62.5 cups, and 1/4 of 125 gallons is about 30 cups, more is NOT "better".  TSP is a very powerful cleaner, do not exceed 1/2 cup per gallon as a general rule, when using it with a surfactant.

I believe he meant 1/2 cup per 100 gallons?  Not sure, I can't use/get TSP in NY.

Chris am I right?

OK I thought when he posted 62.5 & 30 cups respectively he was pointing out that would be too much if filling those size tanks.
Didn't want to see someone add way too much due to a typographical error (possibly) and go try it out on a customers house and etch the hell out of the windows.

------------------------------

Edit: shouldn't post before mornin coffee.  Mixing up roof cleaning with housewashing.  Shouldb't get much on windows, but skylights would've been vulnerable.  Reread Chris's post.  Makes more sense.
