Another 'stripey house' this time in Northern Virginia, ala Art Green style.
This roof had been treated with a non-SH based treatment, which instead, relied largely on high pressure. That pressure simply dispersed the spores very evenly for a bumber crop of algae, which is evident by the picture.
This roof will stay clean for years thanks to American-ProTech's RCIA proven treatment methods. And yes, we did treat the left side of the roof, eventually LOL.
Thanks Ed. Seems like I took a million pics, before during and after on this job, and hoped to get a series of decent ones. I think I did. They'll make it to my web site eventually, and my portfolio in the next day or two.
This was actually a warranty job that I honored for someone else.
((Side note - Sure would be great to get you and the rest of the Jersey crew down here for the 2nd annual NOVA round table in the fall!))
Now if we could only get the phone to ring with paying customers.....
That is a kick-azz picture Ted! If memory serves, you're around 6'-4" tall, so I gotta ask. Did you take that picture laying down to get the right angle? Either way, it looks great!
Nice roof cleaning job Ted, and a great picture! Our customers appreciate us leaving signs in their yard to keep people from knocking on their door asking who cleaned the roof.
Might I ask what part of Northern Virginia this non pressure roof cleaning was done in ?
Would you believe that this roof had been cleaned just 3 years prior by another roof cleaning company that used a high pressure system? It sure didn't eradicate the algae, it just knocked it off of the immediate surface and spread it around the roof!
I have a a great business relationship with this other company, so I was pleased to honor their warranty. Most importantly, the elderly home owner was pleased that I honored the other companies warranty. After the roof cleaning, her Burke home looked great again. Her adult daughter called me a short time later to tell me just that.
