Take the downspout apart to where you can divert runoff and collect it.

Last year we washed a roof at a petting zoo. The downspouts went to the pond that was stocked with trophy bass. The previus roof washer killed everything in it.

What we did. Separated the downspouts. Sprayed the roof, rinsed out the gutters and DS, I dont remember rinsing the roof??? So I dont think we did?
