I've been reading this website forever for the past two years and have cleaned many roofs during that time. I hate to ask what some might think is a dumb question, but I have to ask. What type of price are most on here paying for sodium hypochloride per gallon in a 55 gal. barrel? I get a 55 barrel for $110.00 in NJ and Im also wondering if there are any contacts on this site from NJ that have a better price or could supply a phone number.
I can still remember my first roof which took 5 hrs. which I can do now in approx. 2 from setup to finish. This is definitely a learning experience.
I am very interested in beginning posts to get the RCIA cert. For all that have taken time to submit posts and to "teach " many on how to clean a roof properly I appreciate it and I hope to contribute and become a certified roof cleaner. Thanks to all that recommended Joseph Walters insurance. He lowered our insurance for everything from what we originally were paying by at least a 1,000. Thank You and looking forward to posting.
Welcome to the forum Tom. Since your goal is to become certified it would be a good time to go ahead and become a premium member. There is more helpful info on that side.
Tom It's nice you have been on here for atleast two years, and found a better price for insurance. You saved $1000 because of this site, why not make it $900 and send the other $100 to Gary and become a premium member. Or will you just continue to take information such as where can you save more money on buying S/H? Ahh hell I'll just come out with it....somthings not right here Tom!
Pricing is relevant to where you are.I would suggest googling some companies in your area and start price shopping. I'm payin $1.05 a gallon here. Was payin $1.50 when I first started but price isn't everything.Make sure you are getting good stuff.
If you become friends with your competition and learn how to network, you can agree to keep prices where they belong and send each other work when it is less profitable due to travel, etc.
Hey SJ saw your website. I think you changed it. Looks good. Diamond already got outbid for four roofs from service magic. Unreal how cheap people are doing roofs for here. The last one we lost equated to approximately .08 cents a square. I don't know how anyone can be that low and still run a business. So anyway we stopped service magic what a bunch of nonsense. Hope someone is having success with them but in our case Door hangars work so much better around here.
hey brian yep we quit service magic and are continuing our other advertising campaigns. Nick just kidding on the above post glad to see you recognize the importance of charging the appropriate amout for the jobs at hand. theres plenty of work we just need to get it and get out pricing.
