Well the pumps are made by Versa Matic, who was actually one of the first companies to produce a double diaphram pneumatic pump for industrial use. The reason no one has "heard about" them on the forum is pretty much because MOST people I see on the forum jump on a band wagon and follows suite to what everyone else uses or talks about (ARO or All Flo). Not saying those are bad pumps, but theres more than that out there for pumps.....and better than them also. If you do some research you will find these pumps are one of the best names in pumps and over $2500 each. Hastelloy C metal is a precious metal, chemical resistant to anything you want to pump through it (Muriatic, sulfuric, hydrocloric, toluene and so on) and the cost of the metal alone is $30-$50 a pound. The pumps have all teflon internals as well to hold up to any of the chemicals. These pumps are priced at a great buy at $1500 believe it or not, if you looked for another one in Hastelloy C. They are a rare item to see for sale just so you know. I have 3 of the Hastelloy C 1/2" pumps and only need 1, and have been using a 1/2" Wilden Poly with all teflon internals for my roofs and no complaints. One of these Hastelloy C pumps could last a life time if taken care of with no doubt. I choose to think outside the box when it comes to the equipment I use, and therefore bought these pumps especially since they are very easy to take apart for any required maint. or repairs. There are not alot of parts in these unlike an ARO and so on.

Really? Do tell.... That''s a very generalized comment Josh.
2500.00 thats too much, I could buy 5 all-flo pumps for that, and I think they come with a five year warranty, so for 25 years I would have a working pump?????
