Deluxe Injection system. Do they actually sell these? I did a Google search and found nothing?

I was just wondering?

I don't know if the Injection system Deluxe supposedly had is still available, or if it ever even worked properly?

I like to try everything that comes along though and I was wondering if this item actually exists and can be purchased? I think for many thousands of $$$ it comes with a rig setup. But of course, we all have a rig setup already. The only valuable thing on it would be the Injection system, for most of us?

If so, where can one be purchased and how much?

I have a feeling it will be shrouded in a "secret" $5000.00 deal somewhere?

Oh well, if it functions, it won't take long for a company like Sunbrite or Envirospec to make a better one-assuming it works?

Thanks to anyone who knows about this???

Chuck

First, Good Morning Chuck! Just coming to life here this morning, sucking down some good ass Coffee! I sent my Son to McDonalds (Egg McMuffins on sale!), so life is good.

Deluxe, now called Powerwash.com had NOTHING to do with Bleach Powder. All they did was sell a product that did not work as claimed, as they were told it would.

Larry Hinckley or Michael Hinderliter of Powerwash.com  are the Guys to talk to for Downstream Chemical Injection Systems. LOTS of things are possible as you know Chuck with direct chemical injection!

Thanks Chris. I edited my post to take the "Bleach Wash" out.
Chemical injection, with the ability to control the % injected, would be the cats meow! biggrin
I would think if Deluxe or Powerwash.com had such a thing for sale and it worked, many of us here at RCIA would already have bought one???

What COULD be done Chuck is a simple 2 tank, 2 pump system, one water/surfactant/activator, the other tank Cleaning Chemical maybe ? Then, one could simply restrict the intakes of the pumps to vary the ratio of chemicals to water. Both pumps wide open will give 50/50 mix. Then, by simply restricting the chlorine side pump, we could reduce it down to say 35 percent for shingle roofs, and further down for softwashing houses biggrin

OR, lets say we have a filth driveway where a stronger chlorine ratio is needed ? We simply reduce the water pumps output and Presto, we can have a 75 percent chlorine to water ratio!

Now, let's say we land a HUGE Shingle Roof Job ? No problem ! We simply fill BOTH tanks with a shingle strength mix, and open both pumps up wide open to feed the same hose. We now have a super high flow commercial roof cleaning skid!

Had a friend who once long ago owned a softwash company. Was a pretty big deal at the time and he was a great sales person, wound up getting a SE regional Walmart contract. His softwash system was a two tank rig using the "myers" water pressure booster pump. One tank for SH reservoir, the other tank for whatever mix was needed. Have watched the crew many times on concrete jobs (commercial, no landscaping) crack open the valve partially on the SH valve and go with "direct injection" into the hose stream. Worked like a charm.

i saw my lawn guy with a hose that was 2 hoses that mere conjoined. it looks like bigger versions of oxyacetylene hose used in the steel cutting biz. i called place to find that hose and none could be found. the lawn company wont tell me it "proprietary" to them.

I've tried that a few times, but never could get any accurate % mixes.

So, I gave up on it.

If a good injection system was possible, it would sure be great!

The bad thing is how do you verify how much you are getting out of each hose. I have a 2 pump system but thats my problem so I just either run them wide open or off

Exactly. The few times I've set up a 2 tank/2 pump system, it seemed to vary every job I did?

I couldn't get it set to produce 35% or 50% to any reasonably exact degree.

When one tank was fuller than the other, it seemed to want to pump more from the fuller tank.

I thought that was because the liquid in the fuller tank, was say 3' up the suction hose, while the tank with only a foot of liquid had to pull farther?

I don't know, but I know it didn't work out for me.

Chuck

U can only do a 2 tank setup with a air pump running a dual manifold. This is because that pump has to fill up all the way to it to be able to switch over to the other side of te diagram. It hard to explain but I am doug it and going to put a bid up in a few weeks on how it is done and using just one hose.
