okay so I was loading the truck up for the next day, when all of a sudden it felt like some one stabbed me in the side, pain was unberable, instantly got the sweats, and well started to suck my thumb and asking for my mommy, Oh man it hurt, wife drove me to the emergency room where it was found out I am passing a kidney stone. If you have done this I feel your pain, if you havn't remember you don't want to. I have been layed up for two days now. The doctor said might take up to a wk to pass it..

A friend saved one he passed, it looks like what we call here in Florida a sandspur! OUCH!
There is a procedure available where they use sound waves to break up the stone and you pee out sand. About 10 years ago I had one that was so transparent it did not show up on a ultra-sound. After about a year of suffering and wondering they finally discovered it. It was almost the size of a half-dollar. (try and pass that one)
They did the sound wave thing and after about 3 days of peeing sand, I was OK.
No pain in the sound wave thing. Just crazy watching the particles bounce around the commode.
