All the time. Some guys ONLY clean from the ladder and there's no more chance of causing leaks than walking it.

You aren't spraying up and under the shingles or tiles, just over top of them. I don't see any greater possibility of causing a leak.

I can't remember the last time I walked on a roof to clean it.

I had a skylight leak once Im pretty sure leaked from hitting it on an up angle.

We very seldom walk on roofs. Safer and better on the customers roof.

I never get on a roof. Clean from a ladder. I am OSHA certified and understand your meaning. If you do alot of commercial work watch out.

Even if you're on a ladder you still have to be tied off to be in compliance. So if OSHAs your worry why not just walk it and tie off? We do clean from the ladder when its necessary, but walk 85% (guess) of the roofs because its quicker, easier and it saves solution.

We walk when needed.Most homes here have swiming pools in back with pool enclosures or Sun Rooms.The only way to get around them is to walk the roof. Not a big deal in my book. I think it's quicker too and I can see exactly what I'm trying to get at. IMHO

99.8% time from a ladder. the roofs around here are tall and steep. I hardly ever get a roof to clean that I would want to walk on. Speaking of ladders, I have to replace my 40 footer. That thing is going to kill me. Anybody have experience with what size and kind I could get away with that will reach 3 stories up, and still be able to handle the ladder ?
